Description
École Marie-Gaétane is located in Kedgwick in the North West of the province. Marie-Gaétane has students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The high school students are taken on regular internships in order to learn about themselves and to develop life and career skills.
In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Kedgwick, a village with a fascinating history, offers captivating discoveries, breathtakingly beautiful landscapes and multiple opportunities for exploration. From fishing or kayaking in the river to hiking or biking in the mountains, the natural beauty and wide-open spaces of the Kedgwick region offer an exceptional range of outdoor experiences. And if you're interested in fishing or hunting, the fishing camps here are full of experts and the woods and forests have endless possibilities! In the fall, the foliage of the trees turns orange and gold, adorning the region with hues of exceptional beauty. Participating in the Fall Festival is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the change of season with activities that appeal to all ages and tastes.
In the community of Kedgwick, the beauty of nature is breathtaking. There is the Restigouche River for fishing and beautiful forests for hunting and hiking. The people are very welcoming.
