Assistant director

   Since the end of August 2024, Daniel Cormier has held the position of Assistant Director at Place aux compétences. With nearly thirty years of experience in education, Daniel began his career as a teacher before moving on to leadership roles. He served as Assistant Director at Blanche-Bourgeois School in Cocagne, then as Director of Camille-Vautour School in Saint-Antoine. Afterward, he worked as Coordinator of School Inclusion within the Francophone South School District. For the past six years, Daniel has been the Director of Antonine-Maillet School in Dieppe.

Daniel is a graduate of the Université de Moncton, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He also holds a School Administration certificate and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in Management Excellence.

Daniel is originally from Grand Barachois and currently resides in Moncton.
