Pascal Frenette graduated from CCNB - Dieppe Campus in 2008 with a degree in Business Technology with a co-op marketing option. He began his employment with CBDC Chaleur as a project coordinator with the youth entrepreneurship initiative. Under this initiative, he coordinated the repatriation activity "Chaleur, my region, my future" for five years, set up the Pitch 48 business idea contest and worked closely with the CCNB - Bathurst campus to develop a student entrepreneur club, Club Bizness.
In 2013, through a partnership with CBDC Northumberland and CBDC Acadian Peninsula, he covered the three regions of the Northeast to deliver the youth entrepreneurship initiative for six years. Since April 2021, he is responsible for the management and coordination of internal operations, marketing and organizational control for CBDC Chaleur.
In the community, Pascal has served on several committees such as: Junior Achievement Chaleur, Avenir jeunesse Péninsule acadienne, the Organizing Committee for the 2014 Finale des Jeux de l'Acadie - Bathurst, Coopérative jeunesse de services Chaleur, Startup Chaleur, Startup Miramichi, Multicultural Association Chaleur Region and the Northeast Post-Secondary Education Consensus Group. He currently sits on a provincial CBDC marketing committee and is pleased to join the Board of Directors of Place aux compétences.
Pascal loves meeting young aspiring entrepreneurs who have the passion and entrepreneurial spirit. He appreciates the collaboration between the different actors of the socio-economic sector who work together for the development of rural and urban areas.
